With proper humidification, however, common symptoms such as nasal congestion upper airway tenderness and dry throat can all be reduced or eliminated. Heated humidification takes this discovery one step further. Allowing you to feel even more comfortable meaning you sleep better at night and feel better in the morning. And have more energy all day long. Standard heated humidifier systems deliver humidification based on arbitrary settings which means it can be insufficient humidification or too much humidification. But with intelligent climate control, your CPAP device is automatically adjusted for the temperature and humidity levels of your bedroom. Instead of relying on some arbitrary setting. This protects your airway and makes your sleep therapy more comfortable.

Setting

Setting, use and maintenancem of humidifer is easy. Simply line up the unit with your CPAP device then push them together until they click into place. You'll next adjust the humidity level. You can adjust the level anywhere from off 26 and you can change it until you find the setting most comfortable for you. It's recommended that you start at three for regular humidification and go from there. To adjust the level of humidity you begin with your home screen and turn the push dial until the humidity level screen is displayed in blue. Then press the push dial to select that option. Now turn the push dial again until the humidity level you desire is displayed. Then press the dial to confirm your choice. If your medical equipment provider has given you a climateline Tube your climate control settings in a similar fashion.

 

Adjust Temperature

Start with your home screen and adjust do you see climate control settings then choose your setting anywhere between 60 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit. It's recommended that you start with a setting of 80 degrees and adjust up or down based upon your comfort level. Preheat the water before you start treatment to start warming navigate to the humidity level icon and push and hold the push dial for three seconds. The warming up status bar will be displayed. You can stop warm up at any time by pressing the push style for at least three seconds. You can start treatment at any time by pressing the start/stop button.

Maintaining

Your humidification system is just as important as maintaining the device itself. On a daily basis slide the latch on your humidifier unit and lift open the flip lid to remove the water tub. Watch the water tub in warm water using a mild detergent. Next rinse thoroughly in clean water and allow it to dry away from direct sunlight. Before you use it again fill the water tub with distilled water return it to the humidifier and close the lid.
